Yesterday, Monday 26th October, we had our first official presentation in relation to the Live Project. Along with Mike, we presented in-front of a member of The Car People and another member of a car establishment. The presentation seemed to go well and I was within the 5 minutes, which I'm happy with as timing can often be an issue.
After my presentation I received the following feedback:
- They were pleased by the amount of research I had done
- Not too many others in the class have focused solely on storage and storage solutions within the car
- Mike suggested not only looking at 'comfort' in space within the car but also comfort for the driver and passengers, especially within a family atmosphere, such as entertainment for the children or being able to eat or drink in the car
- They suggested now that I have picked the area of family storage and comfort for the family to look at a specific part of the car such as the boot or the roof (two areas I had concepts for)
- Mike also wanted me to develop my trolley concept that I pitched briefly last week
- Overall the three agreed the area had a lot of scope it was just simply a case of closing in on one area of the car and possibly looking at whether it would be already fitted within the car or an 'add-in' accessory
Currently waiting on an email from Mike Burns for the next step in the project. Will update when email arrives.
